Having graduated from the Grafton Academy, Gay set up her design business ‘DePaor Designs’ specialising in exclusive Bridal wear and special occasion wear. In October 1997 she opened her salon in Dun Laoghaire and in the following January she won the ‘Whirlpool Bridal Designer of the Year’ award for her dress ‘ Daisy’.
Gay deals with each bride personally, getting to know her sense of style and therefore ensuring that she gets the dress of her dreams for that special day.

Gay has her designs of both bridal and bridesmaids' dresses on view there, but she will also design exclusively to the needs of each individual bride.
